Public records have revealed that attorneys representing the Kansas City Public School District have filed a petition in federal court seeking to disallow a state agency, the Missouri Commission of Human Rights, from investigating a rape incident that occurred on the campus of The Southwest Early College.

US public schools are failing – another indication

According to a KHSB report, the incident involved the rape of a disabled 14-year old girl by two other Southwest Early College Campus students. The identity of the girl has been withheld for privacy concerns since she is a minor. The girl has been referred to in all legal documentation by her initials DS. Her family and their sexual harassment attorney filed two lawsuits against the perpetrators and the Kansas City Public School District for failing to protect DS.

The first official suit is a human rights complaint with the Missouri Commission of Human Rights which was filed back in the month of January and the second is a civil lawsuit filed in the Jackson County Court. If you are wondering where some of these striking and experienced attorneys can be found, USAttorneys.com is exactly the place.

In response, Kansas City Public School’s district attorneys have filed motions in federal court stating that the ongoing investigation by the Missouri Human Rights Commission should be stopped right away and the civil lawsuit moved to federal court while its details should be sealed from public access. In the motion the Kansas City Public School’s attorneys claim that the investigation is unauthorized and preempted.

Horrifying details of the rape

The incident itself was caught on camera and was of a very grotesque and inhuman nature to say the least. Video footage shows two students, one male and one female, nabbing the victim and dragging her into a hallway through some unlocked doors in to a part of the campus that was technically supposed to be a no-go area for all students. The female that aided in the crime kept a look-out for other persons while the male student sexually molested DS. They have both been apprehended since and face serious criminal charges as they should, as per the KHSB report.

Many people believe these rapists should receive the death penalty.

DS approached her parents on April 2nd 2014 and complained of severe pain in her vaginal and anal cavities. DS accompanied by her parents consulted physicians at the Children’s Mercy Hospital who verified that DS had been raped.

Negligence on the part of Southwest Early College

According to the civil lawsuit filed by DS’s sexual harassment attorney, Kansas City Public Schools and Southwest Early College in particular were negligent by failing to secure the campus and restrict its students from trespassing in areas that were supposedly off-limits. The lawsuit also refers to a previous rape incident where a student had been forcefully taken to an off-limits area of the campus and raped.

Political correctness allows for this; No responsibility

The lawsuit alleges that despite the first incident the authorities did not fix unsecured doors and faulty security cameras. Both the human rights lawsuit and the civil lawsuit portray the culture of the college as riddled with bullying, violence, sexual harassment, and other unacceptable behaviors which were all condoned by the college and its lack of supervision and regulations.
